Salinus applies a circular economy approach to transform traditional waste streams into valuable agricultural products and, where appropriate, implements Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solutions to maximise mineral recovery.
Solar sea salt bitterns and sodium sulphate waste streams that would otherwise be discharged are recovered and processed to produce SOP and other valuable by-products, improving resource efficiency and reducing waste.
Salinus projects will have lower environmental impacts compared to 90% of global potash production (i.e. MOP & Mannheim SOP)
